Mm-mmm-mm! That's some good
juice.
Or, more accurately, "smoothie." What this small juicery does incredibly well, as opposed to the things that it does just very well, are the smoothies. Options include crazy but amazing combinations like strawberry-banana with pineapple juice, strawberry-peach-mango with apple juice, raspberry-blueberry-frozen yogurt with apple juice, banana-strawberry-yogurt with orange juice, blueberry-peach-strawberry-frozen yogurt with blueberry-apple juice, raspberry-banana-mango-yogurt with pineapple-apple juice, strawberry-mango with orange juice and mixed berry-peach with apple juice (small: $4.99, medium: $5.69 and large: $6.19). Phew! Talk about a mouthful. But Doc's doesn't stop there. Oh no, it goes one step further by allowing you to make your own combo as well. For 50 cents extra, add boosts like protein granola, omega-3 peanut butter, antioxidant agave nectar, cholesterol-killer honey and the-ever reliable chocolate syrup. Can honey really kill cholesterol? We have no choice but to trust them on this.
Additionally, Doc's sells cold soups, delicious wraps, hot coffee and pastries. Did you know that some of the food was even handmade by an Amish family outside of Gary, Indiana? Well, now you do, and knowing is half the battle. Best of all, though, everything is 100 percent organic so as not to upset your healthy, balanced life.
If you have any questions about anything juice-related (or you just want to talk about life, ask one of the friendly staff members—like Mike behind the counter. He'll be more than happy to accommodate you.
