Eivissa is the Catalan name for one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea in Spain – but the new tapas restaurant takes up local digs in Old Town.
The eatery introduces the concept of pintxos – finger foods that could be considered even more of a small-plate serving than tapas – with delicious dishes like slow-roasted Cornish hen served with roasted tomatoes, onion and goat cheese and various selections of Spanish meats and artisan cheeses, including gordal olives filled with the chef's choice of either sardines, salmon or peppers.
The restaurant's sleek, modern design also features warm accents like dark wood floors, hand-drawn mosaics and a tiled bar. Although entrees are priced higher, tapas range from roughly $4 to $9.
Average cost: $10-$20
