You don't have to make the long haul to Mia Francesca from the Belmont L to enjoy the cuisine of Rome and beyond. Insert a little Tuscany into your evening by walking just east of the Bryn Mawr L. There you'll find everything that has made hour-plus waits at the Clark location an unquestioned norm: Italian favorites like Carpaccio Tre Colore (thinly sliced raw sirloin topped with capers, tomatoes, mushrooms, greens, olive oil and parmesan), delicious four cheese pizza that combines the traditional mozzarella with Mascarpone, Blue, and Swiss, and a mix of pasta, fish, and meat entrees that will won’t stay on the plate for long.
Fittingly enough, the food meets with a thorough selection of complementary Italian and American wines, as well as an extensive Grappa offering. As an added bonus, the Bryn Mawr location has a carryout menu and even delivers between Devon and Irving Park.
