First impressions count for a lot. We all have to admit it - we're much more likely to enjoy something in a beautiful setting. Nearly everything about Prasino, from the menu to the decor, is just gorgeous.
Just hearing the name may give the impression that it's another Italian eatery off in the suburbs, but that's far from the case. This new hot spot, with its modern, clean, sharp and wood-themed decor, is an organic restaurant with a slew or vegetarian and vegan options. But don't start thinking that means they're light on the carnivorous options. Far from it, this is an organic spot where you can enjoy lamb and even veal.
A thorough reading of the menu makes it seem as if Prasino has it all. You could eat here for every meal (breakfast to brunch to dinner to dessert) and still have a good number of menu options to work through. And you'll find customers raving about nearly all of it, from the sweet potato hash browns to the veggie burgers to the tofu scrambles to the banana bread french toast with ... wait for it ... optional sugar-free syrup.
Prasino is a great option for groups of diverse eaters with varying needs. Just because you're eating green doesn't mean you can't get your drink on. Artisan cocktails and organic beers are also available.
Average cost: $10-$20
