Located in the heart of Edgewater, Primo's Pizza keeps its neighborhood pleased with a full menu of thin-crust, deep-dish and stuffed pizzas. It also keeps them pleased by keeping things cheap. Almost everything here comes out excessively greasy, which basically translates to ridiculously delicious.
In addition to its signature pies, Primo's has a list of Italian beef, sausage and meatball sandwiches, all under $5. The meats get stacked and served on Italian bread with a side of spaghetti sauce for dipping. If you've got enough change clanking about your pocket, you can add a thick slice of mozzarella or cheddar cheese.
The variety of options between bread here are endless. In addition to its popular Italian sandwiches, Primo offers a gyro plate, fish sandwich, chili dogs and char-broiled burgers. All buns aside, the restaurant's specialties include hot wings, full slabs of barbecue ribs, jumbo shrimp and a slew of traditional pasta dishes like homemade lasagna, baked cannelloni and ricotta-stuffed shells.
