If you frequent Thai restaurants as much as I do, you'll find that many run along the lines of "Americanized" Thai, serving up gigantic portions of pad thai and cashew chicken. Then there are the glorious others, those that stick to the traditional recipes and portion sizes. Rosded takes that traditional route.
At Rosded, even the storefront is classic with its worn-in and "Thai-like" appearance, complete with dragons and a Buddha statue in the window display. Inside, you'll find a small room, tightly packed with even more traditional decor and all the tables they could possibly squeeze in (which is not that many).
As far as the food goes, this stuff is the real deal. There are traditional soups (try the Rosded with beef and bean sprouts), noodle and rice dishes. Tasty favorites include the rama noodles, pad see eiw and curry fried rice. Its expansive menu also includes an excellent selection of appetizers, such as the satay and Thai crispy rolls. The only thing that may throw you off is the chicken; sticking to its very authentic ways, it's dark meat and is served on the bone. If that freaks you out, opt for the tofu.
But even if your Thai tastes don't go beyond pad thai and pot stickers, don't count Rosded out: It still has all the basics.
