Thai Bowl is popular with the locals for a good reason. It's reasonably priced, quaint, casual, and offers student discounts and substantial portions. A bowl of noodles could easily be split into two meals (perfect for the cash-strapped college student). The menu carries well-known dishes like pad Thai and cashew chicken, but also less-common items like pad woosen, pin noodles duck and jade noodles, all for $7.95. There's also a variety of salads, soups and sweets. Don't forget the Thai Bowl Ices (otherwise known as bubble tea) in a variety of flavors ranging from watermelon to Thai Tea Boba for $3.
Students receive an extra 10% discount or a free appetizer on orders of $15 or more. There's not much in the way of decor, unless you count the big-screen TV, but as long as there are hungry people in need of a good, affordable meal, Thai Bowl will continue to draw in a crowd.
