Timber Trails is just that. More timber than you're likely to see at any other course in the area. Mature Oaks line the fairways throughout this extremely hilly and often testy layout. Punch shots between thick jail bars are common. Water is a small factor, coming into play on only two holes. The Par 3, 11th offers a truely knee-knocking shot from an elevated tee box to a green guarded jealously by the large pond to the left. The large greens are of medium to slow speed, but will help hold the low, hot ball.
