Show Details

Theatre Mir and The State Theatre of Chicago present two unique productions of Bertolt Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle. The “Full Circle Festival” starts with Theatre Mir’s presentation of The Caucasian Chalk Circle directed by Jonathan Berry, March 12-April 3. The State will close the festival with its adaptation titled, The Voodoo Chalk Circle written by Chelsea Marcantel, April 8-May 1. These two emerging companies join together to provide audiences the opportunity to experience one epic story, told in two different and exciting ways. Theatre Mir and The State look to engage audiences and celebrate the relevance of Chalk Circle today.
