Bob Fisher's disjointed but stylish riff on Robert Louis Stevenson is a must for steampunk and neo-victorian fans. Many critics are put off by the lack of narrative arc in this collaboratively written melange of scientists, magicians, madwomen and conjoined twins. Still, everyone agrees on the merits of the elaborate puzzle-box set and the marvelously demented performances.
