Crime flick/graphic novel hybrid.

Silent Theatre seduced Chicago last year with "Lulu," its polymorphously perverse adaptation of two Frank Wedekind plays, where actors, live piano and exquisitely timed lighting came together to create a stunning silent movie in three dimension. With "Noir," Silent Theatre uses the same techniques on a hybrid of crime flicks and '70s graphic novels. Let's hope director Tonnika Tordarova can do with violence what she did with sex in "Lulu."
