The Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP), the world’s only year-round presenter of American tap dance and contemporary percussive arts, kicks off its 20th Anniversary season with "Global Rhythms," featuring the Chicago debut of Washington D.C.’s Step Afrika!, which celebrates the African-American art form of stepping. Step Afrika! will be joined by CHRP’s resident ensemble BAM!, as well as scholarship students from CHRP’s Rhythm World summer festival.
