Though almost entirely a visual art venue, this arts center occasionally houses theatrical performances, including (at one time) those of Backstage Theatre Company. Friends of the Arts, a non-profit which offers a variety of services and resources for local artists, keeps shop in the Cornelia Arts Center. Periodically, Friends of the Arts produces art shows and special exhibitions in CAC which are open to the public.
