Established in 1931, The Drama Group is one of oldest volunteer community theaters in the country, producing six shows per season and promoting diversity in casting. The group is part of an ongoing Theater Exchange Program with The Stables Theatre in Hastings-East Sussex, England. Since 1999, The Drama Group has traveled back and forth every other year, bringing a production to Stables and then receiving one here in return.

The Drama Group also has a children's theater that has been in existence for 15 years, as well as a Drama Group Kids Summer Theater Camp.
