For years now the Lincoln Restaurant has been hocking a mean combination of skillet eggs, Civil War-themed omelets and quality entertainment. See touring comics. Take in banjo music. How about jugglers and clowns? Look no further than Honest Abe (or at least all of the Abe paraphernalia). There's a wall of pennies, huge Abe Lincoln murals, glowing signs outside and such a quirky, mostly Eastern European waitstaff you might even hear one of them bark, "Kiss my grits!" (though without the grit of a southern accent).
While all of the food is good, the breakfast menu is where it's at...whatever 'it' may be. And, shock and amazement: there's a bar in there, and beers come cheap; $2.75 for domestic bottles, $2.50 for 12-ounce drafts. But as much as we all wish it were so, the Lincoln isn't open late-nights. Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter filmed a segment here. Give it a try and you'll see why.
