Opened as a vaudeville house called The Majestic in 1906, the Loop-area theatre hosts touring Broadway-type shows as well as dance performances. Until recently known as the Shubert, this venue's new moniker reflects its corporate sponsor (which was previously LaSalle Bank). Tickets usually run from $30-$80. Most are magnificent, but beware the uppermost balcony and a few obstructed seats. The theatre is managed by Broadway in Chicago.
