| Born Charlotte Lubotsky (4/22/26) in Milwaukee, WI, this comic actress first found fame during the 1980s as Edna Garrett -- a housekeeper on the NBC sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes" --, and then as house mother on "The Facts of Life". She also appeared appeared in a number of feature films including Nowhere (1997), Tom & Jerry: The Movie (1993), Rabbit Test , Sidewinder One , Bananas, Hello Down There, Hair, Thunder in Paradise, The Hot Rock, and Jenny.
While at NU, she starred with Paul Lynde in the Waa-Mu Show.
