[PHOTO] Born Denise Lee Richards on February 17, 1972, this Downers Grove/Joliet-bred young lady will be the new "James Bond Girl" in the upcoming film, The World is not Enough, as well as pageant princess in Dairy Queens. Past feature films have included a lead role with Neve Campbell and Matt Dillon (as well as a rather spectacular Champagne-soaked sex scene) in Wild Things (1998), her breakthrough appearance as a female fighter pilot in Starship Troopers (1997), Nowhere (1997), Tammy and the T-Rex (1994), and Loaded Weapon 1 (1993).

Her first part was on "Married... with Children" in 1987. Since then, she's appeared on many more TV shows, including "Melrose Place," "Lois & Clark," "Seinfeld," "Beverly Hills, 90210."

Richards went to El Camino High School in Oceanside, California (a suburb of San Diego). She began modeling there, going on to appear in Tokyo, Paris, and New York, and in pubications including Teen and Sport Magazines.
