Ellie got her start by winning a trip to the Academy Awards on a local radio station. She later won a Joan Rivers look-alike contest on FOX 32 and appeared on the Late Show with Joan Rivers. Also a double as Lucy for corporate events, she participated in the Search for Lucy and Desi for the TV made movie in L.A. picking up the title "Chicago's Lucy" by a syndicated columnist. She has been featured in Entertainment Weekly Magazine, The Star, and North Shore Magazine. Best Hollywood experience: When her street was the location for "Risky Business".
