| It's their job to attract outside filmmakers into the state as well as keep local filmmakers happy, and executive director Ron Ver Kuilen and his IFO team try their damnedest. Annually, the Illinois Film Office puts out a "Film Guide Book" which lists every Chicago and Illinois film/video resource in the city. Unfortunately, the contact information often is out-of-date before the thing is printed, but its still a good resource and it's free! You can pick one up at their downtown Randolph/State Office. Also make an appointment with one of their representatives who'll help you find the perfect location for your film or will refer you to their local affiliate, The Chicago Film Office. The IFO also co-sponsors with the CFO the biannual I/C Screenwriting Competition. The competition requires feature film submissions from Illinois residents only and 75% of the script must be set in Illinois. One West Randolph, 3rd Floor Chicago, IL 60601 PH: (312) 814-3600
