| Northwestern alumnus (School of Speech, 1982) and former member of the Practical Theatre Company has starred on several TV shows including the role of Elaine on Seinfeld (1990-98) and Saturday Night Live (1982-1985). Her film credits include Deconstructing Harry (1997), Fathers' Day (1997), National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989), and Hannah and Her Sisters (1986). She is married to another Practical Theatre member, Brad Hall.
