City's first Hispanic theatre troupe performs in an abandoned (but reclaimed) firehouse. Most of the productions are in English (aiming as much at the artsy Chicago theatre-goer as the local Latino community), but are written by Latino playwrights, exploring the ground of magical realism. Past productions have included Bertolt Brecht's Jungle of Cities, Luis Valdez' Bernabe, Rafael Lima's Parting Gestures, and Garcia Lorca's Once Five Years Pass.
