| Born Mandel Patinkin on November 30, 1952 in Chicago, IL, this Broadway/Hollywood actor got his first break at Chicago's Candlelight Dinner Theatre. Since then, he has been in dozens of feature and TV films (including one of my favorites, the role of Inigo Montoya in the Princess Bride). Patinkin also won an Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series, for playing "Dr. Jeffrey Geiger" on Chicago Hope. Despite having won a Tony award playing Che in the Broadway version of Evita, he didn't play it (wasn't even invited, I believe) in the movie.
