| Northwestern Alumnus (School of Speech, 1982) received a "Best Actress" Emmy Award for China Beach in 1990 (she was a member of the cast from 1988-91). She has been in a number of feature films, including Species II (1998), The Last Time I Committed Suicide (1997), My Fellow Americans (1996), Species (1995), The Cowboy Way (1994), and Always (1989). Her TV credits include ER (1996), The Larry Sanders Show (1995), and Ryan's Hope (1975). She was discovered while acting in an NU campus productions of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.
