| Oak Park child actor grew up in Oak Park attending Lincoln Elementary School on the suburb's south side. Gamble won the open casting call beating thousands of other cute, mischievous, blonde-haired imps and stole the hearts of audiences across America for his downright adorable performance in John Hughes' Dennis the Menace. Gamble went on to co-star in Gattaca (Gamble plays the young Vincent Freeman in the flashback sequences), Rushmore (Dirk Calloway, best friend to Schwartzman's lead), and Arlington Road among other films.
