Michael Leavitt
 
A graduate of the Goodman School of Drama at DePaul, Michael Leavitt is a multiple Tony-Award winning producer who has produced B’way & Off-B’way shows including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Steppenwolf Theatre's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Edward Albee's Three Tall Women, Jekyll & Hyde, and Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile. In Chicago, he has produced/directed numerous productions, including Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers, Laughter on the 23rd Floor; Six Degrees of Separation, Lend me a Tenor, and Having Our Say, among others. Leavitt has also developed and operated numerous theatrical venues, including the redevelopment of the 1926 (Cadillac) Palace Theatre which he opened in 1999 with the Disney production of the Elton John musical, Aida.
