| Inventive youthful off-Loop Chicago troupe is best known for its skillful performances involving both human actors and puppets (which range from tiny dolls to life-sized human figures). Since 1989, Redmoon has delighted audiences with its unique style of neo-puppetry, using masks, objects, and a vast range of puppet-based styles both indoors and out. Founding members include Jim Lasko (who studied at Northwestern with Frank Galati) and Blair Thomas (a former Alabama drum major). Recent shows have included Rachel's Love at the Athenaeum Theatre, and Long Live the King, Frankenstein, The Old Man and the Sea, and Hunchback.
