| Born in Marlon Brando's hometown of Libertyville, Rikki Lee Travolta emerged from a West Coast career as a child actor to appear as an adult in Ron Howard's EDtv and the independent films Twilight Serenade and Diminished Capacity. He appeared nationally in productions of West Side Story and Bye Bye Birdie and translated his musical theater success to a career as a recording artist with the albums Broadway Live (1999) and Hero's Lullaby (2002). Trained in Improv at Second City, he was the first celebrity guest star for Chicago's longest running comedy Tony n' Tina's Wedding, paving the way for appearances by Frankie Avalon in the Windy City and New York Met Lee Mazilli and Domenica Scorsese in the Big Apple. He is also the author of the Pop Fiction novel "My Fractured Life." He currently serves as the Artist-in-Residence and Managing Director of North Shore Dance Center and was named as an official spokesperson for National Dance Week 2003.
