| Born Sherry Lee Heimann on July 31 1944 in Chicago, IL, this Northwestern University alumnus is President of Paramount Communications and Chairman of Paramount Pictures' Motion Picture Group. Ms. Lansing appeared in Loving, and Rio Lobo, both in 1970, before retiring from the acting field. After joining Talent Associates as an executive in charge of development, she went on to a highly successful production career -- her filmography includes the profitable films Indecent Proposal (1993), School Ties (1992), Black Rain (1989), The Accused (1988), Fatal Attraction (1987), and Firstborn (1984), many which she produced while she was President of 20th Century Fox. In 1984, she and Stanley Jaffe formed the independent production company Jaffe-Lansing. She was appointed president of Paramount Communications in 1990. She and Jaffe were nominated for a "Best Picture" Oscar for Fatal Attraction.
