| The Shakespeare Project of Chicago is an all-Equity company (the stage actors’ and stage managers’ professional union) that produces theatrical readings of Shakespeare’s and other great playwrights' plays at no cost to the public. Our actors' credits include venerable Chicago theatres such as Steppenwolf, Goodman, Northlight, Court, Chicago Shakespeare as well as work on Broadway, at the Stratford Festival and at a host of regional theatres. In their time they have mounted each of the plays in the Bard’s canon at least once, as well as staging a performance piece based on his sonnets and a recently adapted 50 Minute Hamlet. Through a combination of grants and personal donations, the project has continued to flourish. For booking info, contact them through their website or at 773/334-TSP1. Also their mailing address is:
2529 W. Carmen Chicago, IL. For more information, visit their website: http://shakespeareprojectchicago.org
