Victory Gardens

Since its founding in 1974, Victory Gardens has been home to more world premieres than any other Chicago theater. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 1999, the group has its own 12-member Playwrights Ensemble, a refrubished facility, and a commitment to developmental theater and Chicago playwrights. The Wall Street Journal calls it "one of the country's most important playwrights' theaters."
