| Since 1961, William Pullinsi has produced and directed over 300 shows, mostly with Candlelight Playhouse and Forum Theatre. He has received 18 Jeff Awards for direction and production, including a special Jeff for "many years of innovation and quiality, bringing the joys of live theater to hundreds of thousands of Chicago-area patrons." In 1989, he was the first American director to stage a musical in Russia with a Soviety cast and crew (Man of LaMancha at the Drama Theatre of Turgenev), and has led Follies for the San Diego Civic Light Opera, Phantom and Singin' in the Rain at Westchester Broadway Theatre; Into the Woods at Marriot's Lincolnshire Theatre; Mastergate at Interplay Theatre, and Strike Up the Band at Pegasus Theatre.
