| Since the fall of 1997, Wing & Groove Theatre Company has grown from an itinerant group of five friends to encompass 26 dedicated members, including actors, directors, dramaturgs, writers, designers, and technicians, residing in a permanent and thriving theatre in the heart of historic Wicker Park. Wing & Groove is the only producing resident theatre company in Wicker Park, and winner of the Wicker Park/Bucktown Chamber of Commerce "Best Cultural Venue" award for 2002. Wing & Groove revisits classic plays with an inventive approach, and create fresh interpretations of contemporary works.
