| WIDC's been offering women filmmakers support and venues for their work for the past fifteen years and they love work that's experimental/alternative in style and self-reflexive of the female existence in content. WIDC sponsors its annual "International Film and Video Festival" held in March with a submission deadline in September. WIDC also hosts outreach programs and individual screenings to increase awareness and exhibition of women's film. Admission to events are often free or minimal, and for an annual $35 membership fee you can be plugged into the organization and all its programming. 3435 N. Sheffield. Rm 202
