Who's Who Chicago: Centerstage People
Scott Smith
Writer Scott Smith.
Scott grew up in the suburbs of Chicago before moving into the city proper in 1998. Since then he's spent his time in various clubs, listening to various bands and making friends with various bartenders in the noble pursuit of free drinks. Recently, in a nod to his advancing age, he began using earplugs at shows and thinks you should do the same. Frankly, you're not getting any younger either.

In his spare time, Scott can often be found on the CTA not reading the last 400 pages of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead (because, really, if you don't get what she's driving at after the first 300 then what's the point?). Should you meet Scott in person, he'll likely regale you with stories involving lots of hand gestures. He'll also be happy to tell you why all modern music owes a debt to Devo.
