Who's Who Chicago: Centerstage People
Kate Anderson
Mac n' Cheese, goldfish crackers, orange soda and YouTube is Kate's blue-ribbon lunch. But, she will come into your restaurant and ask a smug question like "Is your pasta handmade daily?" while dabbing the red wine spill. Kate likes to sip red wine, but loves loves loves to spill it. Regrettably, her friend's poor dog of white fur still wears the verification, from a joke she tried to tell in 2003.

Kate grew up in the sweet state of Iowa but can't recall time spent on any farms. In a pithy four-year odyssey – through five southern states, London, the vending machine-clad nation of Japan, and the West Indian islands of St. Lucia and Grenada – Kate pursued profitable schemes such as the U.S. Peace Corps to help pay off those student loans.

A now blissful resident of Chicago, Kate and her friend John have co-authored numerous book titles on Gmail-chat to each other such as No, I'm Definitely the Least Helpful Receptionist You've Ever Called and My Dream Tuesday with Whitney Houston.
