Hailing from the great state of Minnesota (though people have told him he doesn't have one of those Fargo-esque accents), John came to Chicago for college. When he's not studying in DePaul University's M.A. in Journalism program, John enjoys reading The Onion, correcting friends' grammar and watching anything in high definition. He also cheers for his Minnesota Twins while living with three roommates who root for the Sox, Cubs and Brewers, respectively. At DePaul, he sings in the school's only all-male a cappella group, which featured his infamous rendition of Toto's "Africa."
Theorizing about "Lost" and lollygagging in Lincoln Park fill the remainder of John's spare time. Oh, and his friends tell him he eats like a third grader.
